Uncle Joe's Story.

     As legend has it Uncle Joe was conceived on an undisclosed farm in a barn somewhere in the U.S.A., during a time when growing Hemp was new and taboo. Born on a Hemp farm, Uncle Joe's ancestors taught Joe to respect the plant and to care of the plant just as you would care for people. As Uncle Joe grew into adulthood, he swore to his parents that he would protect the plant from extinction by dedicating the rest of his life to learning more about the plant, and by sharing his knowledge with the world. Uncle Joe's legend grew as he searched the globe for others who believed in the plant such as himself, by sharing seeds and farming practices during his travels, and by ALWAYS keeping a singular mission; to learn more and share his knowledge of this perfect plant which had the power to heal, protect, fuel and build.
 

     Today there are whispers of Uncle Joe's influences in Mr. Washington’s Hemp Farm, as well as other great pioneers dating back to the beginning of Hemp Farming in the U.S.A. If you have been one of the few  lucky enough to Chill with Uncle Joe and share in his smokables, then you may have had the privilege of hearing some of his spectacular life adventures.

     Uncle Joe has traveled as far as East Asia to seek out some of the earliest Hemp roots known to man; he traced his ancestor's footsteps back to where they discovered some of the first Hemp seeds which they later brought back to the United States. Uncle Joe has spent time backpacking throughout Israel, learning about the different ways to make herbal remedies and sharing seeds to better early Hemp genetics. Even Europe was no stranger to Uncle Joe's travels! Uncle Joe spent many many days in Russia, teaching the local farmers how to farm Hemp in such temperamental weather which, consequently, helped stop the trade wars of 1812. It is even said that Uncle Joe and Mr. Ford may have shared a little backyard moonshine while working on the very first Hemp-made vehicle, now known as the Model-T.
 

     I, for one, can't recall all of Uncle Joe's stories from the 60’s, as now they are have faded to become the foggiest of memories... But what I can say is this - if you were one of the lucky few that have ever had the pleasure of chilling with Uncle Joe and partaking in his smokables, you have probably sat with Uncle Joe on his undisclosed farm, watching the prettiest sun rise over acres upon acres of Hemp, all the while listening to stories from Uncle Joe himself. You, my lucky friend, were one of the first people to hear of new people in distant places who enjoyed sharing Hemp's secrets, to learn of numerous wars that Uncle Joe has helped stop (or never start), and many other strange adventures that never quite made its way into today's history books.
